Recently, The Economic & Information Committee of Guangdong Province issued the list of the key robot enterprises of Guangdong province. Greatoo Intelligent Equipment Inc (short for Greatoo) has been on the list as the only one enterprise from Jieyang in the 15 key enterprises.

Chaozhong Wu, the chairman of the company’s board, said in the interview that with the care and direction of Party and government, the idea of innovation-oriented and the persistence in innovation, the company won this honor which was the result of the company’s determination to turn the company into a model enterprise.

Greatoo is the only key robot enterprise not from Pearl River Delta

It’s said that the selection of Guangdong’s first key robot enterprises aims to implement Made in China 2025, Guangdong Development Plan of Intelligent Manufacturing (2015-2025), Guangdong Special Plan of the Development of Robot Industries (2015-2017), accelerating the cultivation of the self-owned brand of robots of Guangdong province and fully giving play to the role of key enterprises in the development of robot industries in Guangdong province.

Reporters noticed that the first 15 enterprises mainly produce industrial robots and are located in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Jieyang and Shunde. Greatoo is the only one key enterprise not from Pearl River Delta.

Greatoo has been on the list, which is not a coincidence.

Engaged in researching and manufacturing high-end intelligent equipment

As one of the national model enterprises of technology innovation, national enterprises of high technology, the 50 key enterprises of equipment manufacturing in Guangdong and innovative enterprises in Guangdong, the company has always been engaged in researching and manufacturing high-end equipment. The company began to develop the business related to intelligent manufacturing early in 2009.

With solid foundation of talents, technologies, equipment and money, Greatoo focuses on the development of robots and intelligent equipment. By holding stocks of German OPS company and introducing German advanced technologies of equipment manufacturing, the company has successfully localized high precision numerically-controlled machine tools; its subsidiary, Greatoo (Guangzhou) Intelligent Technology Research Institute Ltd, signed a license agreement with Israel Servotronix Automation Solutions Ltd, which has allowed the company to use SoftMC source code technology of industrial robots’ control systems and enabled the company to master many core technologies of robots and intelligent manufacturing; in 2015, the company was allowed to establish Guangdong laboratory of intelligent equipment manufacturing where the company undergoes the researches and application of the advanced technologies of intelligent equipment.

Nowadays, the company has already produced a series of industrial robots of different sizes weighting from 6kg to 300 kg and successfully provided many solutions about the complete set of intelligent equipment for tire industries, auto part industries, 3C industries, industrial producing bathroom accessories and food industries.

“The company began the research of robots in 2009 and determined to realize the strategic goal of “making Breakthrough in 3 years, moving to a higher rank in 2 years and taking the lead in 2 years. Being selected as “the key robot enterprise of Guangdong province” means that Greatoo has realized another breakthrough and leap in the area of robots.

 At present, Greatoo has realized industrialization. Its industrial robots and solution of automation has been applied in Hangzhou Zhongce, the biggest tire manufacturer in China, and Minth Group, a manufacturer of auto parts ranking NO.2 in the world, which fully shows the company’s competitiveness in China and the world.

The developing process of Greatoo tells that the company develops itself by innovation and science. Since the establishment of the company, Greatoo has developed tire molds, tire curing presses, industrial robots and precision machine tools and taken the lead in equipment manufacturing industries.
