The 2nd International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Industry Conference and Exhibition was held in Foshan on September 10 by International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Industry  Alliance, Asian Manufacturing Association and the management committee of Xincheng, Foshan. As a representative intelligent manufacturing enterprise, Greatoo (002031) was invited to participate in the conference. Li Yi, a member of member of the national committee of CPPCC and the original minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, accompanied by Wu Chaozhong, the chairman of the board, visited the exhibition of Greatoo. Li Yi thought highly of Greatoo’s achievements in the research and manufacturing of intelligent equipment, especially the achievements in robots. He also encouraged the company to make persistent efforts to make more achievements.

According to Greatoo’s latest announcement, the company was chosen as one of the hundred innovation model enterprises integrating Internet and industrialization by Ministry of Industry and Information and its project, “Collaboration Platform for the Intelligent Manufacturing of Customized Equipment”, was regarded as “integrated innovation supporting all-service and complete flow internet transformation”.　　

Besides for strengthening the company’s researching ability, Greatoo also adopts the development strategy of “Going Out). Through the acquisition of manufacturers at international advanced level in machinery and automation areal, the company has introduced advanced technology and products in China and developed national technology and products.

In 2013, Greatoo set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, German ODG Precision Machinery Co.,Ltd. ODG introduced a technical team with over 20 years’ experiences in doing researches in intelligent and automatic products. The products feature high precision, high stability and long service life, which can take the place of labor in particular procedures and realize continuous operation lasting 24 hours.

Greatoo’s workers in the company’s exhibition stand introduced the company’s solutions of the automation of tire factories to the reporters of Securities Times. For the traditional procedure of carrying and loading tires, 6 workers need to work for 8 hours ceaselessly. According to the mold of three shifts, 18 workers are needed. In recent years, as the ages of employees change and the increase of labor costs, it’s more and more difficult to hire employees in jobs with high labor intensity.

Reporters were told that the company’s automatic carrying system whose main body is an industrial robot, perfectly takes the place of human beings, featuring high precision, high speed, simple structure and easy maintenance compared with manpower.

“By taking the place of manpower costs, all of our robotics automation solutions can meet customers’ demand of recovering the costs of robots.

Under the background of the upgrading of industries in Guangdong, substituting manpower with industrial robots enjoys good market prospect. As the host place of this exhibition, Foshan, located in the central place of Pearl River Delta, is one of the cities where domestic manufacturing industries are most concentrated. Foshan will meet the labor shortage of 100, 000 people, which is an amazing figure in Guangdong. So Greatoo’s intelligent equipment will enjoy a large market.

Years’ research investment and product exploration bring fruitful achievements which are shown in the company’s reports.

The company’s annual report in the first half of 2015 shows that the new intelligent equipment has become the company’s new growth point, making revenues of 25.2868 million, an increase of 1154.32% compared with the same period in last year. What’s more, new intelligent equipment has become the company’s third largest business besides for tire molds and high precision hydraulic curing press.
