On September 5, the Indian company held 10-day equipment maintenance and training activities. The event was organized by the equipment department, covering the equipment used in the production line, the safe operation of the equipment in the daily use, maintenance and other comprehensive training, and requires the operator to do the daily maintenance of cleaning, lubrication and other work to improve the operating efficiency and service life of equipments. This training is designed to improve the awareness of equipment maintenance. We require the equipment department to carry out a system calibration and comprehensive maintenance every week. We inspect, adjust and wipe the various parts of the equipment, to slow down the ageing of equipments. At the same time, the maintenance personnel can make use of the maintenance downtime, the existence of hidden trouble problems in the equipment for the depth of detection and focus on maintenance, reduce equipment, sudden shutdown failure, to do a deep detection and focus on the existence of hidden trouble problems of equipment, to reduce the sudden shutdown failure of equipment. In the monthly one or two maintenance, to consider the key equipment and poor precision equipment with plan and target, repair and adjust the equipment components, to recover the accuracy of equipment.
The training activities make the staff have a deeper understanding of the equipment maintenance. As the person in charge of the equipment department, Mr. Suresh stressed at the meeting, there are few operator's view is that equipment maintenance would waste time and reduce production, and oppose the equipment maintenance. Even some of the operators felt that equipment maintenance is only relating to workers, but not them. These are wrong, we have to change the concept, establish the consciousness of "operator is responsible for the equipment maintenance", which is the duty of every enterprise employees, but also the foundation to ensure the company develops normally.
